La Nature est au centre de mon travail d’artiste.

Je m’en imprègne, me relie aux éléments, au règne du Vivant.
Peindre le végétal, semblable à un corps en mutation, à une ombre fugitive qui se désincarne...
Le fond cerne la forme.
Le vide enserre le plein, créant le passage entre la lumière et la matière.

La matière à l’origine de la Terre...l’argile surtout, enfant de l’érosion, continue et universelle.
Les mains dans la terre. Je l’apprivoise, l’habille d’un lait d’engobe, d’un jus d’oxyde, d’une écume d’émail...jusqu’à l’incarnation.

Car l’essentiel est là: écouter sa Nature profonde, créer, célébrer la vie...

Nature is the core of my artistic work.

Impregnated by it, bound to the elements, to the reign of the Living.
Painting plants as a mutating body, as a fleeting disembodied shadow.
Depth grasps the form.
Emptiness embraces fullness, creating a pathway between light and matter.

The matter at the origin of the Earth...Clay, lovechild of erosion, everlasting and universal.
Hands in the dirt, I tame it, I dress it with an engobe milk, an oxide juice, an enamel sea foam... until its incarnation.

The essentials are here: listening to your deepest Nature, creating, celebrating life.
